The eyelashes are designed to flush debris and loose material away from the eyes and towards the eyebrow or the cheek. WebMy eyelashes used to be naturally long and curled upward very nicely. For the past couple years or so, they've gradually begun to grow much more straight and more downward. My bottom lashes are still curled and grow in the correct direction, so I do not think it is trichiasis (note: I don't know a lot about this condition so I don't know for sure).
